Our psychologists greatly appreciate that developing an understanding of oneself on an emotional level is an important step to improving psychological wellbeing. This is one of the factors taken into account when therapeutic/ counselling approaches are selected. In acknowledging that no two individuals are the same, you can expect your psychologist will tailor your counselling sessions to your personal treatment needs/goals. Whilst specific treatment needs/goals vary between clients, throughout your counselling episode the primary aim will be to resolve issues (however big or small) that adversely impact on your enjoyment of life.
